Beautiful, usually quiet beach and turtle sanctuary. Turtles nests are marked off with a stick jetting out of the sand, please make sure to keep your distance. Turtle nesting season is July till November. They will request a donation of 80 pesos per person and parking is free. There is a lifeguard. If you walk to the right of the entrance there is a path that will take you to a small cenote. If you walk to the left the ocean water is calmer and you can snorkel. There is nowhere to buy food or drinks, and you are not allowed to bring food.
If you go early in the morning in August, September, October you can arrange with them to come back at night for the turtle release!
