There is an entrance fee of about 150 MXN pesos per person for this beach, but it is worth it. You do get use of lounges, tables and facilities. It is usually very quiet and you can find some shade or ask them to bring you an umbrella, the staff is always eager to please. There is a little restaurant and you can order from the beach and they will bring you your food and drinks. The ocean is rough, but that is not the reason you came. On the south side of the beach is the “caleta” where a freshwater underground cave has a small opening and is flowing into the sea. The area is encased in rocks and creates a natural pool. The water is shallow, crystal clear and absolutely spectacular!
